Provides specialized vocational rehabilitation and independent-living services to West Virginians with significant vision loss. Specially trained rehabilitation counselors help individuals address barriers to employment and independence. Services can include orientation and mobility, assistive technology, computer access, braille instruction, daily-living skills, vision-utilization training, adaptive homemaking, and adjustment-to-vision-loss support. The VISIONS program also serves eligible adults age 55 and older with permanent vision loss.
