Idaho Vocational Rehabilitation provides employment-related services and support to eligible Idahoans with disabilities.
About
The Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, commonly called IDVR, is a state-federal vocational rehabilitation program.
Its goal is to help people with disabilities prepare for, secure, retain, regain, or advance in employment.
IDVR serves all 44 Idaho counties through offices located throughout the state.
Individuals may apply directly for services and do not need to be referred by another organization.

Vocational guidance and counseling
Career exploration and planning
Vocational assessment
Higher education and vocational training
On-the-job training
Job development and placement
Rehabilitation technology
Tools, equipment, and licenses needed for qualifying employment goals
Additional services may be provided when necessary as part of an approved vocational rehabilitation plan.
Who They Serve
IDVR serves eligible individuals with disabilities whose disabilities create functional limitations or barriers affecting employment.
Individuals must meet vocational rehabilitation eligibility requirements before receiving services.
Students with disabilities may also receive transition-related assistance.
