About This School

Established in 1954, Guiding Eyes for the Blind provides guide dogs to people with vision loss, having graduated more than 10,000 guide dog teams over its history. Guiding Eyes is an accredited member of the International Guide Dog Federation and provides all client services completely free of charge.

Programs and Services

Guide dog training and matching using the school’s Successive Training and Enrichment Program (STEP), in-residence instruction at its Yorktown Heights headquarters, an urban training center in White Plains, and ongoing support for graduate teams.
