FYI: Finance Your Independence is Delaware’s assistive-technology financing program administered through Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore in conjunction with the Delaware Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
The program works with lending institutions to help eligible applicants obtain lower-interest loans for assistive technology.
This is a loan program rather than a grant program.
Eligibility and qualifying purchases are subject to current program requirements.

Assistive technology, accessible vehicles, and home modifications can be expensive and may not be completely covered by insurance, vocational rehabilitation, Medicaid, or another benefit program.
FYI provides another possible financing option for eligible Delaware residents.
