Iowans can borrow up to five pieces of equipment for approximately 30 days at no cost.
This allows individuals, families, educators, and professionals to determine whether a device meets the user’s needs before purchasing it.
Assistive technology can be expensive and highly individualized.
The Iowa Assistive Technology Program gives people an opportunity to explore and borrow devices before making purchasing decisions and also provides information about funding and reuse options.
