The Connecticut Tech Act Project, commonly called CTTAP, is Connecticut’s statewide Assistive Technology Act program.
The program operates through the Connecticut Department of Aging and Disability Services.
CTTAP helps people with disabilities obtain and explore assistive technology for work, school, independent living, and community participation.
Individuals can interact with assistive technology and learn how devices work before deciding whether they meet their needs.
CTTAP works with partner agencies that allow individuals to borrow assistive technology for a limited period.

The program helps give gently used assistive technology another useful life and may make equipment available at reduced cost.
