Blind Field Services is a specialized program of the California Department of Rehabilitation. The program provides comprehensive vocational rehabilitation services for Californians who are blind or visually impaired. Its counselors and staff have specialized knowledge of the barriers people with vision loss may experience when pursuing employment and independence.
Blind Field Services staff are located within Department of Rehabilitation offices throughout California.
Eligible California residents who are blind or visually impaired, experience barriers to employment because of vision loss, and need vocational rehabilitation services to prepare for, obtain, maintain, or advance in employment. Eligibility and available services are determined individually.
