About

The Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind provides Connecticut’s specialized vocational rehabilitation services for individuals who are legally blind.

Connecticut’s general Bureau of Rehabilitation Services provides vocational rehabilitation for people with most other disabilities, while legally blind individuals receive vocational rehabilitation through BESB.

Services are individualized according to the person’s employment goals and disability-related needs.
