The Arkansas Assistive Technology Alternative Financing Program helps eligible Arkansas residents with disabilities obtain financing for assistive technology equipment and services. This program provides loans rather than grants. Applicants must meet current eligibility requirements and demonstrate the ability to repay the loan.
Subject to current program rules, financing may be available for assistive technology or services that help an individual maintain or increase independence, communicate, work, learn, travel, complete daily activities, improve accessibility, or participate more fully in the community.
