Arizona Loans for Assistive Technology, commonly called AzLAT, is an alternative-financing program operated as an initiative of the Arizona Technology Access Program.
AzLAT provides financial loans to people with disabilities, or others applying on their behalf, who may be unable to obtain funding for assistive technology through health insurance, traditional bank loans, government programs, or other common funding sources.
The program operates in partnership with MariSol Federal Credit Union.
Subject to current program rules, financing may be available for vision-related assistive technology, computer equipment, adaptive software, hearing technology, communication devices, mobility equipment, accessible vehicles or vehicle modifications, home accessibility modifications, adaptive equipment, and other qualifying assistive technology and related services approved by the program.
Applications may be submitted by Arizona residents with disabilities, a family member, a guardian, or another person applying on behalf of an individual with a disability. Approval remains subject to current residency, lending, credit, income, documentation, and program requirements.
