Accessing Potential Through Assistive Technology, commonly called APTAT, is Alabama’s Assistive Technology Act Program. It helps people of all ages explore and access assistive technology through demonstrations, short-term device loans, training, reutilization and funding guidance.

APTAT also maintains an online equipment database where visitors can search for used and available assistive technology devices throughout Alabama.
