The Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind provides independent-living and social-work services for adults who are blind or have low vision.
BESB social workers can act as case managers and help individuals identify their needs, develop an independent-living plan, and connect with appropriate services.
Connecticut adults who are blind or have qualifying vision loss.
An eye report or other documentation of vision loss may be required before services begin.
