INDATA Project – Indiana Assistive Technology Act Program
INDATA provides statewide assistive-technology demonstrations, equipment loans, reuse programs, funding assistance, training, and information to Hoosiers with disabilities.
About
The INDATA Project is Indiana’s Assistive Technology Act program.
It is operated through Easterseals Crossroads in partnership with the State of Indiana.
INDATA’s purpose is to increase access to and awareness of assistive technology for people with disabilities throughout Indiana.
Core INDATA services are available statewide at no charge.

Device Lending
INDATA operates a large assistive-technology lending library.
Current program information states that devices can generally be borrowed for 30 days.
The lending program can allow someone to try equipment before purchasing it or while waiting for permanent equipment.
Equipment Reuse
INDATA accepts certain donated assistive-technology devices, including video magnifiers.
Qualifying equipment is sanitized and repaired and may be provided at no charge to Indiana residents with disabilities.
Recycled Computers
INDATA also operates a recycled-computer program.
Donated computers are refurbished and may be provided at no charge to Indiana residents with disabilities who have no other means of obtaining a computer.
Assistive technology can be expensive, and it can be difficult to know whether a particular product will meet someone’s needs.
INDATA gives Indiana residents an opportunity to learn about technology, see demonstrations, borrow equipment, access reused equipment, and explore possible funding options.
