About
The Idaho Talking Book Service, commonly called TBS, is a free accessible library service for Idaho residents who cannot read standard print because of low vision, blindness, or a qualifying physical, perceptual, or reading disability.
The program works with the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled.
Eligible users can obtain accessible reading materials through digital downloads or receive materials through the mail.

Who They Serve
The program serves eligible Idahoans who cannot use standard print because of:
Blindness

A physical disability
A perceptual disability
A qualifying reading disability
Eligibility certification is required.
Cost
Talking Book Service is free to eligible users.
Materials provided through the mail are sent directly to and from the patron’s residence without postage costs.
