Georgia Library Service provides free accessible reading materials and library services to eligible Georgians of all ages who cannot use standard print because of a disability.
About
Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, commonly called GLS, is a division of the Georgia Public Library Service.
GLS is Georgia’s network library for the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled.
The program provides accessible reading materials to eligible Georgia residents who cannot read standard print because of a visual, physical, or reading disability.
Services are available statewide regardless of age.

Materials delivered through postage-free mail
BARD digital downloads
Accessible library programs
Reader-advisory assistance
Who They Serve
Georgia residents may qualify when they cannot use standard print because of:
Legal blindness
Low vision or visual impairment
DeafBlindness
A physical disability affecting the ability to hold or use printed materials
A qualifying reading disability
Organizations such as schools, libraries, hospitals, and senior-living facilities serving eligible individuals may also qualify.
Cost
GLS services, including eligible books and equipment, are provided at no charge.
