DVI provides educational support for Delaware children who are blind or visually impaired from early childhood through completion of high school.
DVI specialists may work directly with a student or consult with teachers, families, and other members of the child’s educational team.
The goal is to ensure students have access to appropriate instruction, accessible materials, technology, and blindness-specific skills.

Eligibility is determined according to applicable Delaware requirements.

DVI provides specialized blindness and visual-impairment expertise that can complement the services provided by a student’s local school.
